Poor information, poor management, awkward communication as I booked a 19 days stay and understood there's a fridge in my room. But after all it seems like it's only some few rooms with fridge and they couldn't just answer a simple question if my room will have a fridge so I had to cancel this booking and book another accommodation in the same neighborhood with transparent information and pictures clearly showing their facilities. Edit: Screenshot added from the wordsalad conversation with manager, after I posted this Google review. The manager's opinion is that I should have understood from our chat that there is a fridge in my booked room. Note, I never asked for any microwave, neither did inas for help how to use it and I didn't ask for food shops or restaurants, bistros or bars, they just diverted the conversation away from the actual question: Is there a fridge in my booked room? A simple yes or no, right? They just couldn't answer, too complicated for them to say yes or no. So I cancelled and asked for a free cancellation due to it's not what was promised when I booked but they don't see a reason for free cancellation. The cancellation fee is not the problem here, it's their attitude. Finally, NOW they offered me the room with fridge, fully aware I've already booked another accommodation and their reply comes one week later but only after I've posted this review. So for your information, if you book a stay at this hostel just be prepared for a lot of babbling and gaslighting as they obviously don't know how to answer a simple question - and if something goes wrong they will blame you! Hotel was clean, location is 20-25 min walk from city center. Rooms were like in the picture, it needs improvement but for the price it is totally accaptable. Reception is 24 hour, staff was helpfull, they have let to left the luggage to reception area after check out. Service: 5

Hotel Viktorija was decent overall. The rooms were clean, though not outstanding. The bathroom had a noticeable cigarette smell after showering, which was a bit off-putting. The drinks at the bar were quite expensive, but the staff was very nice and friendly.
