Visit this restaurant for good cordial. The patient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Hotel La Conchiglia is remarkable for its prompt service. This place is rated on Google 4.1 by its guests.
Decently clean and moderately priced hotel somewhat near the airport, which is why we stayed there. The hotel is in desperate need of routine maintenance and looks and feels like the owners aren't making much of an effort to invest in it's upkeep beyond the bare necessities. For example, our bedspread was literally threadbare. As in you could actually see areas where it was so well worn that threads were visible everywhere. Our slider lock had places for four screws. One was missing, two were only halfway inserted, which mean the fourth screw was the only thing holding the lock in place. Breakfast was actually very good and the location to the sea was exceptional. Service: 3
We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location has potential, it is unfortunately in a very poor state. The entire place appears neglected, with clear signs that the owner and operator haven’t invested in its upkeep. The garden looks like it hasn’t been maintained in five years, and the building exterior resembles a post-World War II scene. The rooms are equally rundown, with mold in the bathroom and a dilapidated terrace. Breakfast was somewhat acceptable, with scrambled eggs available for €6 and decent coffee. However, the overall impression is extremely poor. If I were the operator, I would be embarrassed by the hotel’s condition. I sincerely hope renovations are planned soon, as the place is in dire need of revival, if not already beyond saving. Service: 3
This review should have been done a while ago. I visited Italy 3 years ago and my stay at Hotel La Conchiglia was one of the many reasons I fell in love with Italy. I visited in mid september which is off season. The hotel was not fully occupied, and I even suspect there were less staff as a result, but my group and I were treated so well, we were all very happy we stayed there. Fregene was wonderful!
