Traveling thru Alaska, stopped at this place between destinations. Very friendly people, talked to owner. Tried a soup, absolutely fantastic curry! Was so impressed I wanted to try “one of everything on menu”. Unbelievable! Everything! Prepared and cooked to perfection, dumplings included! Why is this place so small? Idk? Strongly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried Hotroot to stop into this little stand, buy for the family, and be a hero. I don’t live here, but next visit I’m going out of my way to stop at Hotroot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
