This is not fine dining, it is typical north American mediocre food which is frozen, fried, nothing special about it at all. The portions were ok, no sauces offered bland and uninspiring. The glass of white wine I had was not chilled and of cheap quality from a box. The staff looked miserable, no greetings in or out, the manager wandered around in a dream like state looking like he did'nt want to be there. For the lower quality the prices are high. Will not go again. Gave the service 4 stars as the waitress was making an effort, until she disappeared never to be seen again. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

I went to house 47 with my fiancée, we came from Halifax to try it, it was amazing! The food was really good, I got the smash burger, she got the salmon, our friends got the waygu steak, and the salmon also. The food was great, my burger was fresh, well cooked, juicy and cheesy, and after eating I didn’t feel sick it filled me perfect. The whole experience was great, the price for my fiancée and I was just over $100 and that included a tip! Very affordable for the quality of food! I would recommend this to anyone, and we will be back. Best of luck! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

After visiting this restaurant on three separate occasions I will put forward an valid review. The food is somewhat disappointing with little creativity. One would expect that a Wine Bar” would have a higher selection of food choices. In short the menu could be described as a cross between a pub and a pasta house. Not what one expects from a “Wine Bar”. If you are fortunate to have Tina as your server you will be taken care of and will experience good service. If you are a party of two or party of four you may be Ok. On our last visit we were a table of eight. What a catastrophe……. How do you only put seven orders into the kitchen when you have eight guests. A mistake that should never happen!. Worst of all no apology and no accountability! When the mistake was realized a plate of food that had been literally thrown together was served. Tasteless and un-seasoned. What a disappointment! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
