My wife and I visited House of Sauce to watch a local band and get some food/drink. We were told to sit anywhere we like so we opted for the last available table nearest the door. The bar area was full. I immediately noticed the high top table we opted for was VERY wobbly. There were a pile of bar coasters under one leg of the table attempting to keep the table stable, but it wasn't nearly enough. Our server was a very friendly young lady who did a good job checking on us early to keep drinks on the table, until later in the evening when the bar commanded more of her attention. We ordered wings. 5 different flavors. They were cooked perfectly and some of the best wings I've had in a long time. The jerk wings and the spicy highway to hell flavors were both really tasty. I'm a blue cheese guy, and the blue cheese that came with the wings was chunky, the way it should be at a wing restaurant. Excellent. My wife said the ranch was different than what she was used to getting at restaurants, she wasn't crazy about it. The band started, and while they were great, it was waaayyyy too loud in there. We debated leaving about 10 minutes after they started playing. We couldn't talk to each other without leaning an ear into the other person's mouth and raising our voices. The place is small, and music that loud was not necessary. Meanwhile, for 2 hours we were trying to stay focused on not spilling wine/beer by knocking the table off balance. That was annoying and we had a couple close calls. I was really worried I'd drop an elbow on the table and my wife's red wine would end up in her lap. Wings good. Atmosphere not so much. On a side note, the bathrooms were clean/ well kept on this night and my wife appreciated that.
