My family and I have been going to Houston's since before there was a Macaroni Grill. I can remember the days when the Hawaiian Ribeye was a special. The bar is always full, and although sometimes the seasonal clientele leaves a bit to be desired, the floor and bar staff have always been well trained, and I'm guessing they're selected for their natural professional demeanor. We enjoyed another great happy hour a couple days ago. I still miss Guy behind the bar. I also really need to figure out when artichoke season is. I can never remember. Absolutely horrible place to work at. Lots of dirty middle aged and senior men. Even though the tips are enormous, most of the customers are desperate for my attention instead of enjoying their dining experience! One time I forgot a menu order while a young male couple having a date night told me why are you wasting your time working here when all you got to do is smile and look pretty. It was then I realized I should leave this dark, creepy commerce of food and become a super model.
