Wow, we came here for a quick drink. Ended up spending the night! Great drinks, even better food. Every item we ordered was better than the next. We tried their Mac’ n’ cheese and we were blown away. Okay, let’a give their quesadilla a shot. Holy mackerel! I would come her for just that. I am writing this mid-meal as our server, Lisa, is working her tail off. Can’t wait for the entres! Been popping in here more frequently. The dry rub wings and smoked trout dip is so phenomenal. Also amazing burgers and fries!! Pickled veggies are amazing! Everything is seriously so good. I've noticed the owner is incredibly attentive and totally makes sure everyone is having a great experience! 5 stars !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Finally - the awaited Howard's Bar is open in Stillwater! The new owners have polished up the time honored Whitey's Saloon and revamped the menu; making damn sure to honor what the regulars want: The Meatloaf, fresh-squeexed juice and that dive bar small-town neighborhood atmosphere. This is a spot I will be visiting every time I am in Stillwater. They have beers and some wine and they will even make you a Michelada if you ask for it! Pull tabs - of course - this is Minnesota. Looking forward to seeing the success of Howard's Bar and cannot wait to try everything on the menu. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Plenty of things on the menu that are meatless. The Mac N' Cheese is a dairy lover's dream.
