Fun, casual beer garden made up of a few tables on a covered patio behind this gas station. The station has bottled and tap beers, especially shiners. The patio is decorated with lights, fans, and many old advertisements. It's a great place to have a drink. There are a few parking spaces around the gas station and free parking on surrounding streets.

Great little gas station with tap beer. I have never been able to indulge because I am the driver, but they have great prices and a great selection on bottled/canned Shiner beer to bring home or some blue bell from the freezer. Even more importantly, we go there to see Peanut.

I love stopping here. They typically have the latest and greatest Shiner beers. I was told by a lady at the brewery that Howard's is one of the first stores to get Shiner new releases. They did have the Dewberry Tart when I last stopped in and this was a couple days after its release. You can even buy VHS here! This store will take you back to another time. You can typically find locals around a table discussing what I bet is local politics, weather and good ol' b.s. You'll also find outdoor sitting and draft beers. Stop in if your passing through, I think youll enjoy the nostalgia.
