Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, especially on this incredible first day of November with 20 degrees. We ate raw, grilled oysters and calamari. All caught, fresh, seasoned only with excellent oil. Attentive and pleasant service. Adequate account Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tucked away in a former industrial zone, Restoran Hrast is an absolute hidden gem in Porec. Sitting opposite of the old town, the restaurant's terrace provides a stunning view of the city. While it is not particularly cheap, Hrast does not feel tourist-y expensive. Instead, the quality of both the food and the service matches the price of admission. The selection of Istrian cheese and ham we had for starters tasted as if it had been freshly sourced from the local market. Our main dishes (beef tagliata, beefsteak with truffles, and fish) were all equally great. The potato mash accompanying the beefsteak was amazing. We got incredibly lucky with our service - the restaurant had just hired a new waiter and he proved to be an absolute professional. I can't remember having had a better waiter anywhere else.
