I hope you're hungry! We got the double cheeseburger and it was delicious and huge ! Excellent atmosphere made me feel right at home. The baked goods were amazing. Aliceville is a food desert and this place is a great oasis. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Passed through Aliceville for work. Drove around and found Humble Beginnings because it was on a cute downtown street. The café is quite cute. They specialize in baking pound cakes and other pastries as well as good home cooked southern meals. I had a cheeseburger, they hand make the patties. The fries are something special... hand cut fries that are breaded then fried with flavorful seasonings. Had to compliment the chef, Nicole. Very sweet lady. Diverse menu of classic and southern staples. Will definitely come back when I return to the area. Highly recommend for the atmosphere, hospitality and of course the home-cooked food.
