I tried this place for the first time today. I ordered online for pickup. I was thinking it was going to be just good but to my surprise, it was AMAZING. I ordered a custom pita with chicken shawarma and lamb with olives , corn, hummus, jalapeño, spinach and artichoke hearts with lemon juice and tahini mixed in. Every ingredient was fresh and you can taste each ingredient individually and cohesively as an entire entree. The portion size was great. I had to use a fork to eat what I couldn't hold into a bite but the taste was so good I didn't mind at all. I spent $16 so I can't complain. This is a much healthier option than other places that I frequent so it's a win-win all the way around really. I will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Every staff member welcomed and greeted us at Hummus Republic (Garner, NC). The staff also offered to answer questions we had. I ordered a falafel bowl. The presentation of the food in the bowl was good. The salad greens were fresh. The beets, tomatoes, and cucumbers tasted prepackaged, waterlogged, and not fresh. Usually, falafel is green and moist inside and dark brown and crispy outside. On the day of our visit, Hummus Republic's falafel was medium brown, not crisp outside, and slightly lighter brown inside with some green in it from the herbs. The texture of the falafel was pasty/gummy, like frozen dough that wasn't cooked through. Weird. I could taste the garlic and herbs in the falafel, but the texture was horrible and the flavor was undesirable. I couldn't finish eating them, and usually, I love falafel. My experience at the restaurant was good customer service but disappointing food that I couldn't finish. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
