I saw Homo on social media and thought I had to give it a shot. I'm glad there were no crazy lines or a long wait. I don't frequent this side of town too often. Good size venue with plenty of parking. We were greeted and sat down right away. I saw some other reviews mentioning issues with the service, I'm glad we didn't encounter anything similar. Our food also came out in a timely manner. "Latino Ingredients, American Smoke" ~ Humo Barbecue ...perfectly sums up Humo Barbecue. APPS TO SHARE: ~ Tostada Flight - 5/5 While this is listed as an appetizer, this can serve as a meal if you are not famished. My favorite Tostada was the Barbacoa followed by the Brisket and finally the Pork. Barbacoa, Pork & Brisket Tostatas with beans, queso fresco, onion, cilantro, arugula, cilantro crema, topped with red onion and a slice of jalapeño. #LatinoBBQ: SIDES: ~ Sweet & Spicy Brussel Sprouts - 4/5 The Brussel sprouts were pretty good, exactly as described, sweet and spicy. There is a little bit of heat on the end. ~ Mexicue Cornbread - 5/5 That was some brilliant Cornbread; slightly sweet, warm and moist. I'm a fan! ~ Tri-Tip - 3.5/5 I wanted to try out the Tri-Tip since it's only available on the weekends, but I didn't want to commit to a larger order. It's nice that you can order a smaller portion as a side. The Tri-Tip was just OK for me, I had better. I now these are hard to do so 3.5/5 for me. SALADS & BOWLS: ~ Mac & Elote Brisket Bowl - 4.5/5 This was brilliant! Don't let the size fool you, while it doesn't look all that intimidating, this thing is hearty and heavy. The Brisket was very tender. Great flavor; Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese, street corn, topped with Brisket, onion and cilantro mix, Tapatio crema, Tapatio, jalapeño slices, and a lime wedge. No problems stopping by if I'm in the area... Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My family and I ate here for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was really nice and did a great job waiting on us. We ended up getting the grande family platter. Ribs, tacos, pulled pork, mac n cheese and elote corn. We added burnt ends and cornbread. That cornbread was like dessert it was so good! Unfortunately they ran out of horchata but that’s ok we will be back! I highly recommend! We ordered their chico platter for 2-3 people for the two of us. We asked to substitute burnt ends for sausage and got the brisket and ribs with mac&cheese and refried beans. We liked the refried beans but didn’t think the hatch chile mac & cheese was anything special. The three meats were excellent. The burnt ends were moist. The brisket was solid, but the ribs were felt could have been a bit more fall off the bones. Although the sticky bbq sauce on the ribs were good. We liked the picante sauce and original barbecue sauce. The service is attentive and friendly. Our server gave us a good rundown of the menu and helped us figure what the best value would be for us to try a variety of the menu items. We definitely liked it and recommend it. If we were in the Henderson area, we would try it again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
