Hunan in Hastings is a great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine. From the friendly owner and staff to the delicious food, there's something for everyone. The chicken fried rice is a must-try - it's been voted the best in Nebraska! The crab rangoon, wonton soup, almond chicken, hula beef, and sesame chicken are all popular dishes that come highly recommended. The twice cooked pork and pot stickers are new additions to the menu that are definitely worth trying. The sweet and sour sauce is unique and much better than other places. The Diet Center chicken, General Tso's chicken, and flour steak are also great dishes. The spicy sour soup is a must-try, and the lunch menu is reasonably priced. Delivery and take-out are also available. The only downside is that the restaurant closes for a couple of hours in the middle of the day. Overall, Hunan is a great place for a second or third date and offers some of the best Chinese food in Hastings.
