I saw a favorable post on Facebook about this Chinese take out and decided to give it a try. I stopped in at noon and found no one in the entry area. After looking around I saw a bell that had a note "ring for service". I was initially surprised because after reading the reviews, I expected more activity especially at noon. After a few minutes I was about to ring the bell again, and a person stepped out from the back room, he was not Chinese. He took my order and fumbled his part where your bill shows up and you tap your card. Anyway, he finally passed that hurdle and told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes. That surprised me because I was the only person in the room. The food came in about 20 minutes and in the meantime, other people had come into entry area and were given their orders. These must have been regulars. I was beginning to think I must have misread the reviews and I decided to look at them again. I arrived home, unpacked the bag, noted there was no spoon for the soup, but since I was home, that didn't matter. I started with the soup, and at first it tasted like beef gravy and it was salty. I decided to throw away that part of lunch and continued on to the main feast which was beef and broccoli with fried rice. The broccoli was good in that it had not been overcooked and I guessed it came out of a frozen food bag. I really can't describe the beef, it was not what I was expecting. The fried rice did not have that fresh stir fry flavor that you would expect, so I ended up throwing that in the trash as well. I don't know when I decided this would not be my go to Chinese restaurant. When I had to ring the bell for service, when the service representative showed up and was not Chinese, when to locals were served before I was, even though my order was in first, or when I finally received the food and had the experience of eating it. Hunan City Boca. I DROVE 77MILES FROM HOMESTEAD AFTER I SAW THIS RESTAURANT ON FACEBOOK , WELL I MUST SAY IT WAS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE, I DEFINITELY WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN, AND I WILL BE RECOMMENDING THIS RESTARANT TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO WILL BE TRAVELING IN THE AREA, THE FOOD HAS SO MUCH FLAVOR, THE SAUCES ARE SECOND TO NONE, THIS CHEF IS A MASTER IN THE KITCHEN, THE WAIT TIME IS VERY FAIR CONSIDERING ALL THE FOOD IS BEING COOKED FRESH, IM SO IN LOVE,THEY HAVE VEGAN FOOD AS WELL,YOU Will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
