Most guests recommend trying good pork sandwiches, bacon and potato salads. To taste tasty cinnamon rolls, chocolate cookies and biscuits is a truly good idea. According to the reviewers' opinions, espresso is great.

If my previous review (please see the owner's comment to me) was off-base then the restaurant would have lasted for more than one year. I'm very careful expressing my opinions and I could certainly be way off; however, a microwave is hard to, well, ... mistake for another device.

we were looking forward to trying this place based on some solid yelp reviews but we showed up for lunch on friday and it was closed up and dark even though sign said open. several other cars were also trying to park and eat there to everyone's dismay. So we walked across the street for pizza. I don't understand how a deli isn't open on a Friday at noon? hopefully we can try it another time..

My wife and I spent the day hitting all the yard sales in the Crestline area for the Memorial Day Weekend. We took a break and happened upon the Hungry Bear Deli. Despite the holiday weekend crowd, this place really delivered. My wife ordered the Cobb salad and I ordered the pastrami sandwich with potato salad. This obsessive foodie opined that the pastrami sandwich was perfect and generously loaded with a very flavorful pastrami meat and the potato salad tasted homemade, and not something swimming in an overly sweet mayo. Historically, my wife's has routinely ordered the Cobb salad from other restaurants and described those Cobb salads as "Just Ok". However, this time my wife with a wide smile, said this was the best Cobb salad she has ever had. This place has a woodsy rustic vibe, great customer service, clean restroom and great food! The flawless package. We felt sincerely welcomed by the owner, chef and server. We definitely will be back!
