Coolest Record Store around, for sure. We found some gems in here, for great prices, including some classics for $1! It's cozy and vibey. I hope that my new favorite NC based artist has his music sold in here one day soon, because I'd love to support local artists in local music shops! Let me know when y'all carry Lua Flora!

Great selection of records But very over crowded with furniture Animals were inside while I was trying to look. (People forget that everyone are not comfortable or allergic) Bar didn't have a good variety on non alcoholic beverages.

Hi Elisabeth. Thanks for the kudos on the records. Regarding the dogs: There's a large stuffed Scooby Doo outside our door with a note on it saying we are dog-friendly. Regarding the NA offerings: I'm sober for over two years. There's a cooler in the back with lots of options and we usually have a NA beer on tap and a hemp seltzer. Thanks for stopping in.

Nothing but good things to say following my first visit to Hunky Dory. For starters, the vibe and atmosphere is unmatched. I could genuinely get lost in this place forever. I personally came to shop for some new vinyl records and found some really neat ones. They were a great price for what I was getting. The worker on duty, Alayna was so pleasant and seemed like she enjoyed her job. She also included some plastic covers for my records after overhearing that I would need some with my new additions. I will definitely be shopping here again and I recommend anyone else to do the same.
