Stopped for breakfast. Breakfast was ok. Although very small in quantities. They lack choice of bread,toast. You got what it came with fried bread!!! Service: 4 Location: 4

Lovely place! Fantastic accommodations, food and ambiance too. We were there in bleak February to visit family and could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Without hesitation, our Wincanton relatives came for a great dinner with us one night -- a big table of about a dozen. The service was great and the food truly wonderful. And we enjoyed a few breakfasts there too. Whenever we visit the area, we hope to return to the Hunters Lodge Inn. My only problem and a suggestion for management is, for those who need good wifi access, the rooms at the far end of the property don't get a signal and we needed to walk close to the pub to get any. It made it tough to communicate with our family and I suggest management be sure to advise guests that need wifi to take proximity to the pub into consideration. Either that or get a strong extender so we can all access problem free. Otherwise, wonderful, wonderful experience in a beautiful and spacious and very comfortable room.
