I’ve known this restaurant for over 30 years!! It’s always been good. Last time my food was totally not as ordered. It was not an issue, food was taken away and replaced and was again excellent. Good atmosphere and great service. Thanks for your service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food is mediocre at best. Our waiter was nice, but rest of staff were extremely rude. Will never go back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Boiled Rice
It’s always a pleasure to step into a traditional curry house like this. We came down from Manchester (25th Aug) to see the sights of Stratford upon Avon. We were greated with a warm welcome from the start! The staff are incredibly lovely in here. Conversational, kind and attentive. I loved the decor of the place, as well as the original features. It feels untouched, as well as very clean. I’m not too much a fan of modern curry houses with plain white walls and LED lighting The food was immaculate. Full of flavour, and a generous portion size. The chicken in the curry had been tandoori-marinated, adding to the flavour- as well as it being soft, and it effortlessly falling to pieces. My Jalfrezi was spicy (as it should be), but wasn’t too overpowering. It was also really nice to see the curry and rice weren’t swimming in oil. The Garlic Nan was fluffy and delicious, too! A perfect night here, and will absolutely visit again when we come down again some time! Thanks to all of the staff for such a lovely experience.
