Mixed Experience at Hyde Park - A Tale of Outstanding Service and Disappointing Food We chose Hyde Park for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration, drawn by its stellar reputation. The service exceeded all expectations - from personalized menus with our names to a thoughtful anniversary card signed by the staff. Our waiters were attentive and professional, and we were impressed by the meticulous attention to detail in table preparation. However, the food fell dramatically short of the service standards. My porterhouse steak, typically a luxurious cut, arrived overcooked and tough. The accompanying super baked potato was cold, and the asparagus was overcooked and soggy. While the restaurant graciously removed the steak from our bill, the disappointing food quality significantly impacted what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. While I understand this was during the holiday period (between Christmas and New Year's), a restaurant of this caliber should maintain consistent food quality regardless of timing. As someone who typically writes positive reviews, it pains me to report such a disparity between service and food quality. When we were first seated we were very impressed by the staff and the service. But after we ordered our meal, they never came back. Some one from the kitchen delivered the food. My water was empty.most of the neal. The manager walked by twice and never acknowledged it. My steak was bloody and I asked for no pink. My husbands steak was chewy. When you are paying that much for a steak it would be nice to get a good cut. We were finished eating by the time they came by and asked if we needed anything. The entire night we had to listen to an extremely loud gentleman behind us. Overall it wasn't a good experience. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Celebrated our 5 year anniversary with a gorgeous dinner at the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse. It was everything and more! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. I’m glad I picked this restaurant for our celebration. They even left us a cute congratulatory card from all the employees for our anniversary. It was a dinner to remember. Everything was impeccable and worth every cent.
