Despite this being next to the main road the food was excellent. We had Pinza and the mixed grilled meat. Only disappointment was that they didn’t have still water and the side dishes were limited. Grilled vegetables came cold and preserved in vinegar/oil. The owner was very accommodating Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

This is not a place for any foreign tourists. If you are visiting/staying nearby and looking for a dinner place, Do yourself a favor - go to the next door Lo Convento!!!! 100x better!!!! All local people go there!!! As many others mentioned, you will be completely surprised when you get the bill!! Owner surely knows the way to trick you, the visitors!!! 1) charge EUR 3 for breads?!!!?? Never happened anywhere in any restaurants in Rome we have visited! 2) EUR 5 on some potatoes in the EUR 60 meat platter - never mentioned to us when we ordered and it showed in its picture of the menu!!!!! 3) charged EUR 12 for services which should be completely discretionary!!! Again even in the 5 stars hotel restaurants, they won’t make it mandatory on the bill!!! In the end, you pay EUR 20 more than you should have paid!!! Shameful!!! Food is ok but again, give you a smaller portion when they see you are visitors as they see the opportunity to take advantage of you. When you wanted to see the bill, he showed completely impatience by knocking his pens nonstop as if you are cheap doing that!! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Grazie infinite per la splendita descrizione sulla qualita e non ha evidenziato che 4 persone avete speso € 100 pagando con carta di credito 6 euro di commissioni il servizio lo paga anche al Lo convento poi se voleva spendere meno a 200 metri dal Lo convento trova MEC DONALS e comunque sia spendeva x 4 panini e cocacola 80 euro 4 persone .Non e'stato un piacere conoscerla ...le auguro una buona vita ADDIO......

This was by far the best meal we had in Italy. The gnocchi was sensational! The owner was very friendly, he helped us with wine pairing and chatted with us about the restaurant. We are staying in a different area next time we go to Rome but we will absolutely be making a stop or two at I Veraci. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
