The stench when you walk in is enough to make you vomit. Smells like backed up sewer mixed with cave. Was going to leave but luckily was seated away from the kitchen area. Waitstaff stated it would take over half an hour to receive our order for two. Service was mediocre...acted like they had somewhere better to be. Maybe it was to get away from the odor emanating from the other half of the restaurant? Good thing the food was superb. However, I will NOT be back for quite some time. You’re better off going to Skillets just a block down the road. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Had an early dinner at IHOP on Christmas Day after seeing a movie and was pleasantly surprised. The dining room was very clean and we were seated right away. Alfredo G was our server. He was polite and attentive. It took a little longer than usual for our food to arrive, but it was hot and our orders were correct. I had the shrimp and fries and husband had the chocolate pancakes. We were so grateful they were open on Christmas Day since it appeared everything else in Del Rio was closed. I didn’t give 5 stars because I would like to see some healthier vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Ok for breakfast. Lacks healthy proteins for vegans. No veggie burger or salad with beans available.
