We were there in a large group with a fixed menu. I went the safe route with the Vegan Stir Fry. It was pretty good but alot of people in my group got either the steak or the salmon. Both were over cooked and their "black coconut rice" was terrible...looking and tasting. It didn't even have the texture of rice. It was very weird and tasted terrible. The dessert was either key lime pie or flourless chocolate cake. The key lime pie was ok but not homemade. It was very odd to hear the server say that no one in the Keys makes their keylime pie. They are all bought in. The flourless chocolate cake was very rich but delicious. I probably won't eat here again even though the view was amazing from our tables outside. Am absolute pleasure having found this place, a gem right in the midlde of the Keys. Upscale, classy, modern beach destination and fun. We ordered their special last night which was a Seafood Pasta everything from Shrimp, Scallops, Clams, King Prawns and Lobster it was amazing. We also ordered one of their delicious Steaks served with baby Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes, one of the best Steaks we have had in the Keys. Staff were friendly and fun to have helping us. Mahina is definitely a place to book for dinner even if your not staying at the resort. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
