This restaurant, located on an unassuming block in Guernica, packs a serious culinary punch. The owner is an experienced chef who offers traditional Argentinian meals, but also has more than 15 years of experience working in Europe, so there may be an opportunity to order something a little different as well. Il Rustiko currently (in 2023) has a solid selection of very well-prepared hamburgers and pasta, plus some lunch specials that range from gnocchi to polenta to roast chicken and salad. Asado was offered on the Friday we were there, and it was excellent. They also deliver within central Guernica. Located an hour outside of Buenos Aires on the train, the most direct way to get there is to get off at the Glew Station and take the 370 bus to within a half-blood of the restaurant. Leandro N.
