You can visit this cafe if you appear to be near Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall. That's a good idea to order perfectly cooked pies and tasty terrine. Come here for good summer pudding, chocolate croissants and fruitcake if you are hungry. Among the drinks, there is delicious bitter. You will hardly forget great matcha, matcha latte or ice tea that you can taste.
At IPPUKU & MATCHA, you can order dishes as a takeout. The gracious staff reflects the style and character of this place. Enjoyable service is something visitors like here. It's a nice place with the calm atmosphere. As for the Google rating, this spot achieved 4.4.

JAN 2026 Made a reservation in advance for the private tea room which can seat up to four people. If you come alone, you can have the tea room all to yourself. I pre-ordered the matcha parfait and chose the matcha tasting experience which gives you the option to choose two single origin Uji matcha out of the five different ones they have. The parfait was brought out to me first and then the staff proceeded to whisk the two matcha drinks. I had the organic Asahi and the premium Samidori matcha which had subtle differences in taste; one was more rich and bitter and the other one was smooth and balanced. The parfait was pretty good with close to ten different components; the raspberry sauce is a little too tart for me but the rest including the ice cream, matcha pudding and matcha crunch chocolate were tasty. Although it was quite expensive especially if you choose the matcha tasting experience with premium single origin matcha, it was nice to enjoy some quiet time in a small cosy private tea room.

Delicious matcha (I opted for oat milk) and a matcha pound cake with some matcha cream. Note that the cake portion is a bit small, but it is not expensive, so you can always buy 2. I found the combination just right. There is no seating inside (just for reservations I think), but there is plenty of seating in front of the cafe and also across the road.

IPPUKU & MATCHA in Nihonbashi is such a nice spot for matcha lovers. The matcha pudding is amazing, rich and smooth with just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness. I really want to go back to try more items on the menu because everything looked so good. Seating is only available outdoors, but it still feels relaxing and comfortable. A great place to enjoy a quiet matcha break in the city.
