Showed up at 9:15pm on Sunday for my Birthday was just wanting to check the place out have a drink and some oysters as a night cap. Was told the kitchen closed at 9pm even though the website says the kitchen closed at 11pm. Asked to be seated outside the host was nice lit the fire for us and handed us a drink menu. Could have been a misunderstanding but was told the server would be out to take our drink order shortly. It was almost empty in the place and needless to say 10-15min later after my lady came back from the powder room. She informed me that the bartenders basically ignored her and she was told there was no servers. For a place that says it was open till 11pm or 12 I would think they would have servers. For a place that charges that much for a drink you would think it came with some sort of service. I really hope this place improves it was very clean and cozy. Just zero service. And if they're going to close early at least tell me before we come in and wait 15 minutes to not be served or perhaps update the business times on the website and Google. We did not stay. Nice, rooftop spot at the Waymarket. Service was great - 2 very good bartenders, and the bar snacks were good. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sun-soaked brunch at Iris Rooftop today—first visit and it delivered. Vibes were on point, and the service team kept everything flowing effortlessly. The Bloody Mary cart is a whole experience, the deviled eggs with crab were next level, and the smoked whitefish board absolutely stole the show. Brunch done right—we’ll be back.
