One of the best meals I have had in a long time. This unassuming restaurant is a gem not to miss! From the boho chic interior to the hand picked and carefully sourced ingredients they put into the food, this restaurant encapsulates everything that makes the flavours of Italy so fantastic. To top it all off the owner was a wonderful waiter who took the time to explain the origins of the restaurant, its food and drinks in a detail that is usually reserved for the upper echelons of society. We visited this lovely place in May 2026. Great food, nice atmosphere, and excellent service! Definitely one of the best places to eat Italian food in that part of Milano. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Don’t let the exterior fool you since it’s located next to a gas station! We were visiting Milan from Canada and looked up local pizza restaurants to experience authentic Italian pizza and ITALIO was what popped up. The owner served us and provided us details about ingredients, recommendations and the story of the restaurant. The chef sent out samples to try before and after our meal, something as Canadians we aren’t used to at all. The hospitality of all the staff was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking to try some amazing Italian cuisine give ITALIO a try. The pizza crust was perfection and the tiramisu was light and not too sweet. Simply perfecto!
