Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Japanese cuisine is waiting for you. Here you will be able to taste good sushi, soup and crabs. Ichiban added a special flavor to the Souk El Akil with the sushi sandwich they served. The sushi sandwich came in several ways; crab sandwich, salmon sandwich, and man2oshi sushi sandwich. Although the man2oshe sandwich sounded weird, the mix of breaded cheese sticks with the sour taste labneh added made it unique.

We went for open sushi the other day and we ordered a variety of sushi wraps that turned out to taste really bad, the overall experience was unsatisfying, I was so disappointed because I expected Ichiban Cuisine to be tastier than Ichiban Express. Some of the orders were replaced with others. The combinations they make do not taste as good as you'd expect them to. The wraps containing Foie Gras taste really bad as a reflection of the poor quality of Foie Gras they use.

Contrary to Ichiban express, this place has actually good, edible sushi, but it sure comes at a price ! I would recommend this place for a date, as the decor is very intimate and cosy !
