Absolutely fantastic Izakaya. Ran away from the touristic vibe of Kyoto and this little place made my stay. Amazing food and fantastic staff - will make it my mission to return when back in Japan! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Up there with the best in my 25 or more years in Japan. Izakaya is a subcultural existential culinary experience unique to Japan. Icihizen exemplifies this. Kudos to the hosts. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
