New Farm Library is what you should see after having a meal at Idle. Enjoy nicely cooked sausage rolls, lamb sausages and porridge that are proposed at Idle. Come here and degust good crumpets, almond croissants and fruitcake. Delicious absinthe is waiting for you at this place. A collection of great iced latte, matcha or cappuccino is provided to visitors.

Hubby and I had a quick lunch here on a Wednesday. The place was busy; staff were lovely, and we had a tasty meal. He had scrambled eggs with added halloumi, while I had mushroom toast. These dishes were plentiful and well-flavoured meals. I had coffee while he had hot chocolate - both good. There are some interesting deli items inside, plus some fab pastries (we took home some pain au chocolat). The only downside is the tiny tables with not much leg room! (We did wonder why there was so much unused space inside.) I think we will be coming here again soon tho. Well worth a visit from our side of town. Meal type: Brunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Idle Bakery in New Farm is an absolute gem. The baguette was perfectly crisp, the ham, cheese, pickles and egg combo was simple but seriously spot on. Proper quality ingredients, done well. The coffee was excellent, and the pie was next level with golden, flaky pastry and rich sauce on the side. Great little spot, relaxed atmosphere, and exactly the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Five stars easy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
