This quaint but excellent restaurant is ON THE SEA, a pearl easily missed as it does not show much from the main road but it's food is second to none! Founded in the golden days of Genoa's tourism, it offers local cousine prepared with a magic touch! Fish, pasta, pizza, all dishes are fantastic and cooked with competence and care. The service is polite and welcoming. And if you bring your swimming suit you can dive in the Ligurian sea too! A must for the connoisseurs of local traditional cuisine. The owner here harassed my friend and I last week. We were passing by and saw how beautiful the restaurant was. It was a little too early to eat dinner so we decided we would go down to see about renting one of the beach chairs outside of the restaurant and then eat dinner there once we were hungry. We do not speak Italian but we could tell that the owner was very upset with us. We told him we didn’t understand what he was saying but that we planned to eat at the restaurant and wanted to pay to rent beach chairs as well. Finally an employee who spoke english came and told us that they stop selling spots on the chairs at 7:00. We decided to leave since the owner was so disrespectful. He yelled at us the entire time we were walking out and up the steps. Horrible way to run a business. Best place in town for great seafood. A true local find. Outside the tourist area. Spaghetti Il Focone and the grigliata are outstanding. Staff accommodating and great views. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
