Our dinner at Il Giardino Ristorante in Rome was a truly special experience, especially for my birthday. The wait staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout the evening. The manager was also very helpful and offered excellent recommendations for both food and wine. What made the evening even more memorable were the amazing views of Rome from the restaurant. Enjoying a wonderful meal and a thoughtfully selected wine while taking in the beautiful city views made for a birthday dinner I will not soon forget. Overall, Il Giardino Ristorante provided excellent hospitality, delicious food and wine selections, and an unforgettable atmosphere. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Rome. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+

I came here for my girlfriend's birthday as a special occasion because of the great views, and to be fair, the views were by far the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, the food quality was far below what the prices would lead you to expect. For example, both the salmon tartare and the steak tartare tasted like something you could buy ready-made from a supermarket, despite costing €36 each. The bruschetta selection was also very misleading. It was nothing like what you would expect from a bruschetta dish, had almost no flavor, and cost €22. The main courses didn't improve things. The ravioli tasted frozen and were outrageously priced at €48. My companion ordered the focaccia, which I personally found awful, although at €18 it didn't disappoint me quite as much. Overall, it was a dining experience I'd rather forget and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for good food. On top of that, the service wasn't anything special either, especially considering the premium prices they charge. We constantly had to get the staff's attention whenever we needed something, instead of them checking on us proactively. For the prices they ask, the level of service should be much better.
