One of the great winebars in the historic centre, in what was originally a Renaissance palace just off Campo de’ Fiori. The old sign ‘Vino e Olio’, although from times past, is quite representative of this charming enoteca. Il Goccetto (little drop) offers an admirable selection of wine bottles from small producers, both to drink on the spot or take away. The list of wine by the glass is short, but interesting, and you can order a nice selection of sott'olli, cold cuts and cheese to go with it. The coffered wooden ceilings and the bottle-lined walls make the interior very quaint and romantic but, with few tables available, it is quite common to see people outside with their glasses in heated conversation.
