Too much noise, frenetic service, over-cooked pasta and poor quality acid sauce is what we found but the worst was the lack of respect for the customer with the restaurant manager's suggestion not to go back again after a simple dish was reported of tomato pasta done really badly! ..NEVER AGAIN!!! (one star goes only for recording the review)

I absolutely love Il Picchio--it's easily my favorite pizzeria in Torino! The fried articokes, pizza and all their dishes are consistently delicious. Pairing the food with their crisp Bollincini white wine is a match made in heaven. Whether dining indoors or outdoors, the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The outdoor seating adds a lovely touch, especially on a nice evening. Plus, the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasure.
