Piccolo is pretty near The National Tattoo Museum of New Zealand. This restaurant offers Italian dishes. Perfectly cooked spaghetti carbonara, ravioli and garlic pizza are the tastiest dishes. You have a chance to degust tasty gelato, tiramisu and affogato. As guests write in their comments, wine served at Piccolo is delicious. This place is known for good coffee.

Not recommended. Very interesting experience tonight. We saw the wildly fluctuating reviews for this establishment but decided to give it a try since it was very close to our accommodation and Italian food sounded good. We arrived around 6pm and were the only people in the place. We stood at the counter for 3-4 minutes before anyone appeared to acknowledge us. The fellow passed me a couple of menus over the counter and then turned away into the back area. We picked a table, sat down and reviewed the menu. For over 10 minutes, we heard a bunch of clanging and banging but nobody came into the sitting area. Finally, the same fellow appeared, asked if we were ready and we said yes. He disappeared again with more clanging and banging in the rear of the restaurant. After about 5 more minutes, we gave up and left. Service: Dine in Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
