Coming from Toronto, we had a wonderful experience here. Despite not having a reservation on a busy Saturday night, the staff were incredibly accommodating, supportive, and helpful, even with the language barrier. The food was superb, and the service was excellent. The staff regularly checked in on us and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service! Il Ritrovo a San Giovanni is everything you hope to find in an authentic Italian restaurant: family-run, filled with locals, and passionate about serving exceptional food. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family, and the hospitality never stopped. Every dish was beautifully prepared, bursting with fresh, authentic flavors, and clearly made with care and pride. The service was impeccable, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind without ever feeling rushed. In a city full of restaurants, this is the one we'll be recommending to everyone. If you want to experience real Roman hospitality and outstanding cuisine away from the tourist crowds, don't miss this place. A memorable dining experience in every way. We can't wait to return!
