This pizzeria and Portovenere can be both really attractive for tourists. Tourists like Italian dishes at Il Timone. Good pesto pizza, focaccia and anchovy are among the dishes to be tried at this place. Most guests recommend trying tasty parfait, gelato and tiramisu. You will be offered delicious cordial, prosecco or beer. It's time to degustate great ristretto.

Nice environment, shame that there were drafts everywhere and air came in from all directions. Definitely touristy: 5 stuffed muscles €18! (I specify that the prices are written on the menu, unfortunately it did not specify that they would be so few), questionable desserts. Very fast and kind girls, but it's not pleasant to eat with someone who stares at you. We spent €70 on two main courses, two desserts, a water and a glass of wine and left hungry. Not well. Located a few meters from the lively heart of Portovenere, the restaurant/pizzeria "Il Timone" was a very pleasant stop on my trip out of town. Overlooking the sea, the restaurant is truly a small pearl of Portovenere. Here I enjoyed a wonderful cheese focaccia outside of common standards. Different from the classic culinary offerings, here the focaccia manifests itself as pure culinary art! The very thin base and the fresh cheese give the palate visual sensations, tactile sensations, truly unique aromas and flavours. However The prices are slightly high and the place is small and being in the company of my beloved dog I found the place a little uncomfortable. That said, I highly recommend the Timone dining experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Gran Misto Di Farinate, Focaccia Al Formaggio
