Restaurant Illyria is a must-see destination in Shkodra, Albania. Located atop a hillside overlooking the Bojana and Drini Rivers and Rozafa Castle, the restaurant has an impressive view that is well worth the 10 minute drive from the city center. The terraces are beautifully decorated with flowers, statues, and fountains, and the atmosphere is almost like Italy, enhanced by a singer delivering Italian songs. The food is also excellent, with traditional Albanian dishes like lamb, steak, and veal in sauce, as well as seafood risotto and mixed grilled vegetables. Prices are quite reasonable and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shkodra!
