Good atmosphere, pleasant service, delicious food. We especially liked Flammkchen. Keep in mind that they do not serve hot main courses; the only hot food was soup. The house wine was also delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's very tasty and always friendly. If you are in Unkel, you definitely have to stop by. American visiting. I visited this place with my German friends upon my friends’s recommendation and it was a cozy, quaint experience. The town of Ukel is beautiful, tranquil and inviting. Weinhaus Im Lämmlein is the gem of Ukel. The place opens into a intimate atmosphere with sensible details and a traditional and jovial feel. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. We had no reservations (preferred) but they allowed us to sit at a nicely located table and communicated that all was sorted out. They have a superb selections of wines and the food was delicious and on pair with traditional German cuisine. I enjoyed the patio ceiled with real vines. I must stop if you ever in that area.
