In Between Tavern is pretty near Christ Church Cathedral. Do not leave without tasting perfectly cooked grilled chicken, cheeseburgers and mushrooms. After a long working day, you can try delicious lemonade. Visitors don't highly appreciate draft beer at this bar.

The In Between Tavern is exactly what a great neighborhood bar should be—fun, welcoming, and full of character. Open since 1969, this longtime Cincinnati staple has clearly perfected the art of bringing people together. It’s an ideal spot for pregame gatherings before a Cincinnati Reds or Bengals game, or for grabbing a drink after a show at the Taft Theatre. The location makes it easy, and the vibe makes you want to stay longer than planned. A special shoutout to Adam, the manager, who was absolutely fantastic. He was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely friendly—setting the tone for a great night from the moment we walked in. The Friday night crowd was eclectic and lively, with a mix of ages—from young to not-so-young—all enjoying themselves and sharing the same easygoing energy. The In Between Tavern isn’t trying to be trendy—it’s busy being timeless. If you’re looking for a place with history, personality, and a guaranteed good time, this is one stop you don’t want to skip. Arrived for happy hour and learned the happy hour prices listed everywhere inside and online are not what you will be actually charged, prepare for a classic bait and switch. You will not leave here happy. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $50–60
