I tried the Japanese option with the ginger beef. The portion is generous but the quality of the meat was below expectations. Too many mix of flavours. It was also difficult to digest (Many burps all the afternoon). It's in the food court so don't expect any ambiance. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Tofu is is the vegetarian option

Finally, an Asian fusion bowl that isn't just a sad salad in disguise. Didn’t think much of this place when I first saw them years ago at Time Market (especially with the low ratings). But after they opened a new location inside the CS mall’s food court, I decided to give them a try. The selection here wasn’t huge (4-5), but the bowls pulled from different Asian cuisines, and nothing felt repetitive. One thing I usually dislike about Asian fusion bowls in the U.S. is how salad-forward they are. A lot of the time, they’re just a pile of raw greens dressed up with “Asian” sauces and a protein. Even the vegetables tend to be raw rather than pickled or fermented, which feels disconnected from how these flavors are traditionally built. And I think that’s where this place gets it right. The vegetable choices they use like bean sprouts, spicy mango, and fermented cabbage are ingredients that actually belong in the context of the dishes they’re referencing. Flavor-wise, everything I tried was on point. The Japanese donburi with ginger beef was my favorite so far, but the Korean bibimbap was also well-made. While there is an Asian fusion bowl place in Downtown Boston that I like a bit more, I’d occasionally come back here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
