this is the best soba i’ve had. i got the hana soba that comes with the tempura set and a side of mackerel sashimi. the soba was such a blast of flavors and textures - it was salty, had bursts of sea water from the salmon roe, creamy from the uni, ooey gooey from the shaved radish, umami from the soy sauce based broth, and perfectly chewy from what appeared to be handmade soba noodles. oh and i can’t forget the crunch from the perfectly crispy tempura bites. it was such a fun and delicious experience and a well deserved break from nonstop poke eating. would recommend. kind service. i walked in by waiting 15 mins before opening and was the first in line. otherwise can make reservation on opentable (this i didn’t know!). Flame-seared ahi and soba. Spot on timing with green tea and later sobayu, great dish execution and charming/attentive staff make repeat visits worthwhile — at I-NABA Honolulu.
