The general adage when travelling is that restaurants filled with locals will be a good choice to eat in - and we had this proved tonight with Inagaki. The place was vibrant and busy, but with no wait for a seat. The atmosphere was immaculate, very friendly staff who helped us with an English menu and a complementary appetiser (I didn't catch the dish name, I think it was thinly sliced daikon in a sauce? It was a great intro anyway) we ordered some truly excellent food (grilled gyoza, yakitori skewers, salmon belly, marinated eggs) and beer which came out at a steady pace, for a very reasonable price.
