[Local cuisine if you are in town] Lunch at Kakunodate in Akita. I wanted to try the restaurant Inaho next door, but due to time constraints, I ended up going to the restaurant version of the restaurant, Inaho. The outside temperature is 35 degrees Celsius...It's a hot day with harsh sunlight. Cold water and towels are prepared and I gulp them down. Ah, the cold brings me back to life. The service is provided by an elderly lady. I feel relieved, feeling like I'm back in the countryside. The highlight of this restaurant's menu is the ``Gakko Set Meal (1,650 yen including tax)''...9 dishes arranged with Gakko (pickles), Iburigakko-don, and a local dish that comes with a bowl of Kiritanpo. Set meal. In addition to this, I also ordered the cold Inaniwa Udon (660 yen including tax), which is cold Inaniwa Udon, since I came to Akita and thought I should try Inaniwa Udon. As expected, it was too hot outside, so I couldn't get enough of the piping hot ``Kamaage Inaniwa Udon'' (770 yen including tax). First, the ``Teoke Inaniwa Udon'' is brought to you in about 10 minutes. A piece of ice is placed on top of the noodles, making it feel a little cooler. Serve cold Inaniwa udon noodles with additive-free dashi stock, wasabi, and green onions. This is so delicious that it goes right down your throat. It seems like my body temperature has dropped a little. Three minutes later, the ``Gakko Set Meal'' was delivered. Do local people really eat this much Iburigakko? So much so that you can find Iburigakko in candied stews, tempura, and natto, and in Iburigakko-don, Iburigakko is used instead of chicken in oyakodon. There is a yellowtail fish inside the egg, and the texture and salty taste are surprisingly good. It feels like I've eaten a year's worth of smoked fish. I don't get tired of eating it, but I might be a little worried about my blood pressure. Enjoy the parade of creative pickled dishes made with local vegetables, such as onions, Chinese cabbage, carrots and daikon radish simmered in soup stock, and other dressings. The bowl also came with ``Chinese cabbage soup with Akita prefecture's famous kiritanpo,'' and with just this, I felt like I had fully enjoyed Akita's local food. Satisfied and satisfied with Akita's greatest common denominator food.
