We visited this cafe on a very rainy June afternoon. The building itself is an old shukubō (pilgrim's lodge) and clearly has a long history of at least couple hundred years. Accordingly, it has a very nice atmosphere. The owner was also very kind l, caring and flexible in regard to my request to have a meal without meat. We also had a pleasant chat Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

It's a cozy cafe with a nostalgic atmosphere that reminds you of your grandparents' house in the countryside. I was looking forward to seeing the exterior of the building, and the coffee and sweets set were delicious, but I was very disappointed in the customer service.
