It was my first time trying Peruvian food and it was a fantastic experience. The Peruvian beer had a really interesting and unique flavor. You could tell the dishes were made with completely fresh ingredients and cooked with real care. Everything from the appetizers to the main courses and the accompanying sauces was excellent. The service was great and the staff were wonderful. The only slight letdown was the dessert, which was just average, but overall it is a fantastic spot in Delft to try something new. Let me start with this is not authentic Peruvian food. Peruvian food doesn’t have chimichangas or nachos and their version of chicha morada is not too close to the real thing. I have lots of Peruvian family and we eat Peruvian on the regular and this place is a far cry from even being a Peruvian place. The empanadas were not good. That is being very nice. The yucca salad was good but how hard is it to deep fry yucca. I would not eat at this place again. I didn’t try the lomo burger which is what they are known for. I do not recommend at all. I was very surprised to see so many Mexican dishes on the menu and then when we asked the staff where they were from they said Chile. So I think they must have some of the dishes mixed with other countries. So don’t let the name trick you into thinking it is Peruvian! After the reply from the restaurant I still stand by my review. I was not racist. My review is accurate. Everyone who knows Peruvian cuisine knows that the Chinese have a huge influence in Peruvian food but it doesn’t mean it isn’t Peruvian food. 3 of the 4 people in my party eating with me that day were Peruvian and did not like the food, did not think it was authentic. All I am saying is if you put Sabor Peruano on your menu it better be Sabor Peruano. Also kind restaurant owner having a real pollo a la braza there is nothing better than the original if you cook it properly. Sorry I hit a nerve but I take my Google reviews seriously. Hope this helps someone else who might mistake this restaurant for an authentic Peruvian restaurant. Also please next time call out racism when it happens, but don’t pretend that everybody who doesn’t like your food must be racist. There is nothing racist about saying that your staff could be from somewhere else and fusing your food. You kind sir are the one who called your restaurant Inca Mania, you did, nobody else. I just commented so that others who see the name don’t get confused and think this restaurant has authentic Peruvian flavor. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: They did sell vegetarian empanadas which my kids said were way better than the meat ones.

Good evening Shawnna, Pretty impressive review. If you look at our menu, yes, we put chimichangas and nachos and make it a mexican/ Peruvian twist so like this we get more locals in our bistro as the Peruvian kitchen is maybe known in the Netherlands by lets say 10% of the population? We put a twist in it to get more people (not only Peruvians) so for them to start knowing the Peruvian cuisine. But if you read a bid further you notice the Ceviche, Aji de Pollo, Asado de Pollo (better version of Pollo a la brasa) Lomo Saltado ect. (Not Peruvian??) These are in every Peruvian restaurant around the world including in Peru, and they are all fusion. Mixed with other countries like mostly China. If you dont like our Bistro that is fine and i would suggest try another one. I would have loved you to try our Lomo Saltado. What we want to achieve is that the Peruvian kitchen / culture is getting more known in The Netherlands but apparently for guest like yourself the moment a restaurant is running you like to stamp it to the ground. The Chili part was pure a joke as the moment you see another nationality in a Peruvian restaurant according to you its bad. Thats a bid racist. Dont worry, i dont call you that. I suggest think before speaking. Next time (if there will be one) i suggest mention it directly to us so we can adjust and correct any mistakes, instead of telling us on the spot it was nice and than write a review like this. No wonder there are not many Peruvian restaurants in the Netherlands Have a lovely day and may God bless you Ps. The owner and chef is from Lima, Perú! Dear shawna No worries. You didnt touch a nerve. That you make your life out of your google reviews i can see. But thats ok. I dont mind. Thank God there are many other people enjoying my Peruvian bistro and a lot of them are real Peruvians that enjoy there food. But also other latinos that enjoy our food. I didnt call you a racist. Read good my reply. I just mention that it has the sound of it. And pollo a la brasa, sorry, i have tasted many different ones in Peru but asado de pollo i find way better. But thats everyones opinion for themselves. Enjoy life further and who knows Maybe till the future Have a lovely day.
