We were really looking forward to ordering from here after reading so many good reviews and mentions of authentic flavours. Placed order at 19:05 & advised it would arrive around 20:15. We received an update on Just Eat at 20:05 saying it would be with us soon, but after waiting another 25 minutes I called and was told 5-10 minutes. It eventually arrived at 20:50 – almost two hours after ordering – and unfortunately everything was stone cold. Portions were very small, especially for the price. We wouldn’t have minded as much if the dishes had been exceptional, but they were bland and underwhelming. We ordered three curries to try – Chicken Chettinad, Spicy Kerala Chicken Curry, and Fish Coconut Curry. All were described as spicy, and we requested them to be homestyle extra spicy, but none were. The coconut curry tasted more like a mildly spiced tomato soup, with no real coconut or spice layers coming through. Even the garlic naan was disappointing – soggy, doughy, and heavy, definitely not tandoor-cooked & no garlic flavour evident. Portion sizes overall were poor: very little (white) fish in the coconut curry, and just a few small pieces of chicken in Kerela curry (although the chettinad had more). We ended up reheating everything and adding our own fresh spices/ dry spices just to bring some flavour back. The only positives – what little chicken and fish there was, it was tender. Sadly, it just wasn’t for us. We expected far more for the price. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
