Report incorrect information
We placed an order via JustEat at 6:15pm tonight and was told it’d be with us by 7:45pm. I had a text to say it was on its way at 7:30pm but by 8:30pm it still hadn’t arrived. I tried calling the takeaway 17 times but nobody answered...it just rang and rang and rang every time. In the end I decided to drive up from Colwick to find out where our food was. We are moving house tomorrow so have absolutely no food in the house and was relying on this takeaway to feed our 2 young kids (and ourselves). I got to the takeaway at 8:50pm only to be told it was going to be another half an hour (plus delivery time!). All in all it’d be 3.5hrs after placing the order.
I asked for a refund but was told I couldn’t have one as I ordered through Just Eat. There was no offer of a discount for the inconvenience should I want to wait for it and I found the staff rude and unapologetic.
This is the 3rd time I’ve had problems with the delivery times with Indigo so I will not be using them again, nor will I use their sister takeaways ‘Spice’ or ‘Karikana’.
I’ve had no joy in getting a refund from just eat so I might as well have just thrown £40 in the bin. I’m absolutely fuming!
