Ramshackle little place giving a very authentic experience and the food was very worth it. You can go for all the crazy stuff like spleen but a standard nasi kuning made a great sampler. Particularly good beef rendang, tender and tasty sauce, good fried chicken, good rice and a great sambal. Seems a bit more expensive than Kensington but still great food.

Wonderful Indonesian foods! One of my favourite Indonesian restaurants in Sydney, and it's a personal plus as it's local to me. All of the foods that I have tried are all just delicious: Nasi Rames Padang (Rice with Rendang, Chicken, Cassava Leaves Curry, Chilli Egg), Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice), Ayam Sereh (Chilli Lemongrass Chicken), Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken), Ayam Penyet (Fried Chicken with Chilli Sauce), Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay), Iga Bakar (Grilled Beef Ribs), Gulai Kikil (Beef Tendon Curry), Tahu Isi (Fried Stuffed Tofu). Lovely customer service too, this will be my regular restaurant to order Indonesian foods for sure!

Just our luck that we found an Authentic Indonesian restaurant that is more accessible to us than driving all the way to Kingsford especially when my boyfriend craves his Indonesian food.
An extra huge plus is that the lovely and friendly owner is also comes from the same city as he is (Surabaya) so she also cooks food from there too.
The dishes were awesome, full of flavour, cooked well and authentic tasting. The Nasi Bebek tastes like it was cooked by the locals in Surabaya according to my boyfriend, he truly loved the dish ?, it took him back home. Even the sides; tempe, tofu and sambal was so yummy ?!
Overall I would highly recommend this place as a place to come try authentic reasonably priced Indonesian cuisine and we will definitely be back to try some more dishes.
