The wagyu beef udon was very tasty. Each set comes with yuba, warabimochi kyoto’s signature sesame tofu which were all very delicious. Great meal overall Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overlooking the street and Tenryuji Temple, you can taste really authentic tofu along with a black sesame dessert. You can order the menu while looking at the photos on an electric pad. Great presentation and tasted sooo good! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Neat decor, but mediocre food and rigid service. While the restaurant is beautifully decorated and in a prime tourist spot, the ramen itself is just mediocre. They use a tablet for placing the order, so ordering is self contained. The biggest issue was their strict refusal to customize orders or provide extra condiments—even if you offer to pay extra. Because I couldn't adjust the flavor to my liking, I sadly ended up wasting my food. A quick heads-up for tourists: • Cash Only: This is highly inconvenient given the popular location. • Language Barrier: The staff doesn't speak English, so having the Google Translate app ready on your phone is an absolute must. It is hard to recommend given the strict policies and average food. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: No vegetarian food
