Jakey's Birthday Party / Cousins get together at Infinite Wasabi - a resto that stands as a discreet yet consistently impressive establishment offering a refined Japanese dining experience. Its location, slightly set back from the bustling promenade, contributes to a more serene and private ambiance. The culinary offerings at Infinite Wasabi focus on contemporary Japanese cuisine, encompassing a diverse selection from pristine sashimi and expertly crafted sushi rolls to comforting ramen and thoughtfully prepared bento boxes. A key attribute lies in its unwavering consistency: prompt service, competitive pricing, and a culinary execution that consistently delivers both freshness and satisfaction.

Went here for the good reviews but was somewhat disappointed. The tonokotsu ramen was atrocious. Potentially one of the worst I have had. The soup flavour lacks umami and the beef was extremely tough and chewy. It has definitely been cooked beforehand and heated to order. The noodles are also quite soft and don't have any bite like typical ramen. The wasabi prawns lacked any wasabi flavour. The prawns themselves and the tempura was decent and the salad underneath was also decent. The star was actually the broccolini. This dish was superb. The veg was grilled so well to have a nice char, but had the right blend of crunch still within it. The sauce also went very well together with it and and the cashews were unexpectedly good. It's unlikely I would go back, but if a friend wanted to take me here I wouldnt hate it. Id reorder the broccolini and hope to find other nice dishes that I missed.
